I have no idea what I can say about Halyna Hutchins, someone I certainly didn’t know, for five minutes, but I think I need to try.

Her death in an on-set accident has generated so many questions, so much grief, so many recriminations. Obviously, recriminations are due somewhere because this incident should not have happened.

I originally had planned to share a link about some of the facts that are known about her death, but I decided against it. Five minutes isn’t enough to read any of the articles out there, much less dissect them.

Two people I know have posted pictures and memories of her — obviously, this is a “six degrees of separation” thing in the faintest of ways.

Yet — even though I didn’t know her, I want her to be remembered.

She sounds like such a special person.

I keep thinking about how we get mentally when we’re in flow — especially when we are doing something we love to do. I think it shows, even when the work is difficult and relationships are frayed.

I’ve always felt the book title, “Do What You Love and the Money Will Follow” certainly holds a truth within it. It’s not a 1:1 correlation — do just what thrills you and you’ll be rolling in money! But I do feel that if you love something, the positive energy and…
